INSPECTORS TOLD TO LIE BY SUPERIORS

INSPECTORS

Agricultural inspectors at Miami's International airport were told to lie about inspecting incoming passengers carry ons for contraband fruit and plant items to keep out insidious insects and plants that would compete with native plants for survival.

But, also by not inspecting passengers bags, it put our nation's security on the line. Those inspectors might not have found the contraband they were looking for, but the might have caught someone carrying weapons or explosives. I know that going through every passengers bags takes time and backs things up, but better to be safe than sorry.
