THE FORGOTTEN HOLOCAUST

TURKEY

Everyone who has studied 20th century world history knows about the holocaust of World War II, where millions of Jews were murdered by the Germans, but the first holocaust, and from which Winston Churchill coined the term, happened during WW I, where the Ottoman Empire (present day Turkey) slaughtered 1.5 million Armenians. Although not as widely known, pictures of those atrocities exists too. Its even believed that Hitler took their example for his attempt to eliminate the Jews.
