NEW STEM CELL NEWS

SKIN CELLS INTO STEM CELLS

The different groups of scientists have developed a technique that can turn skin cells into stem cells, eliminating the need for embryonic cells and reducing the controvery of stem cell research.

But since one of the teams was Japanese, they need to be careful, since two years ago, one scientist was caught faking his research results.

FAKE RESULTS

PROTESTING SOLDIER, CON'T

Dennis said...

He just wants out of the Military and this is how he is going to do it. These type of people are useless in the Military, so when they start this nonsense they should just give them a dishonorable discharge and say Good-Bye and not give them any publicity.

True, they should give the a dishonorable discharge and put it in their records that they were discharged for insubordination. That would ruin their chances of ever getting a job in management, which where a lot of ex-military go. Also, they should be a clause in the enlistment papers that if at any point they refuse to go into combat, if needed, they should have to pay the gov't back for all the money the gov't spent to train them. That would cut down on those who refuse to go where they are told to go.

PROTESTING SOLDIER

SOLDIER

This man knew what he could be getting into when he signed up for the military. I mean, everyone knows that the military is for, war. Anyone who signs up for the military has to expect the possibility of going into combat. That's why in boot camp they teach how to shoot and clean a gun, how to fight in hand-to-hand combat. It's not the boyscouts. If you are against war, don't sign up. Right now, there is no draft, you have the choice to join or not. I'd rather have our country protected by those who WANT to be in the military than those who don't.

JFK AIRPORT PLOT

TERRORIST PLOT

Four men, including a former baggage handler, at JFK airport, plotted to blow up the airport by using the jet fuel lines that run from NJ to the airport. The baggage handler, Russell Defreitas, a U.S. citizen and native of Guyana, was the one doing surveillance on the airport, noting escape routes, where the pipeline originated, security cameras. Another member of the group was an ex-Parliament member of Guyana. Two others were from Trinidad and Tobago.

The plot was uncovered last August by an informant. The informant was so convincing that he was flown to the terror group's compound for several meetings. During one of those meetings, Defreitas is heard saying that Americans love john F Kennedy so much that by blowing up JFK Airport would be like killing Kennedy twice, and that it would totally devastate the country, and would have a greater economic impact than the 9/11 attacks.

The informant was a twice convicted drug dealer. Like most informants, they end up working for the government hoping for a lighter sentence for was ever crimes they have committed. But informants have become another weapon in the war on terror. It was an informant that reveal the plot on Fort Dix.

MORE DETAILS COME FORWARD ABOUT TB PATIENT

XDR-TB PATIENT"

Robert Speaker, eventhough he knew he had tuberculosis, was so determined to get married in Greece, and Honeymoon in Italy, he took steps to make sure that his trip couldn't be stopped. He changed his departure date, meaning that he left sooner than he previously planned. Which caused him problems in Santorini, because Speaker didn't file the neccessary papers for a civil wedding.

MARRIAGE

TB MAN APOLOGIZES

HOMELAND SECURITY

Mr. Andrew Speaker, the man whose case of XDR-TB has been all over the news, has apologized for all the problems he caused to his fellow passengers all because he wanted to get married. Although Mr. Speaker was warned that it wouldn't be in his best interest to fly with his form of TB, but he claims he was never told he could be a danger to anyone else.

And another wrinkle in the case is that Mr. Speaker's father-in-law worked at the CDC, doing research on tuberculosis. Robert C. Cooksey said that the strain of TB that his Son-in-law has, did not originate at the CDC labs.

Mr. Speaker avoided being taken in while in Italy and instead flew to Prague, then to Montreal, and then drove across the border. By that time, there was an all points bulletin out for him to be detained. The border guard claimed that Mr. Speaker didn't appear sick, so he let him in. Now, anyone who has been following this story, will notice that there are gaps in our Homeland Security. Someone on a suicide mission, could cross our northern border with a case of small pox and infect a large portion of our population before anyone could know about it.
