TICKETS
People looking for tickets to concerts and sporting events may not get the chance to buy them on "Ticket Master" or any other well known ticket outlet because there are others using computers and auto dialers to flood Ticket Master with calls as soon as tickets are to go on sale, and buy up all available ticket in a short period of time, only to resale them at higher prices either through ads in news papers or online. Ticket Master has even joined the investigation to put a stop to this type of ticket sales.

TRIBAL MEMBERS INDICTED
HUNT
Nine members of the Makah tribe of the Seattle area, have been indicted on charges in the illegal whale hunt.
In 1994, the Federal gov't removed the California gray whale from the endangered species list. In 1999, the tribe gor a permit through the National Marine Fisheries Service, to kill one whale, which would provide the tribe with a year's worth of whale meat. They killed their first whale in over 70 years. Although the Government allowed that first hunt, there were negotiations to allow the tribe to continue the hunts. Nothing was final.
The man who lead this illegal hunt was the same man who lead the first whale hunt in 1999, in which they are allowed to hunt as their ancestors did, with harpoons. The tribals elders say that these men did not have permission from the tribe and they used high powered rifles this time.

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA PLANNING TO REOPEN FALLOUT SHELTERS
FALLOUT SHELTERS
Because of the increasing threat of an al-Qiada attacks, Huntsville, AL in working on reopening the fallout shelters that were built or designated during the cold war. These shelters were closed after the fall of the Soviet Union. Even the air raid sirens have been changed to tornado sirens.
The one worry I have is, those shelters were laughingly inadequate during the cold war. Most wouldn't have protected anyone from a nuclear attack. Huntsville wants to reopen these shelters in fear that al-Qiada might use a dirty bomb to attack the US.

MAN LIVED WITH DEAD ROOMMATE'S BODY A MONTH
BODY
David Morse, 40, waited a month to report his 86 yr old roommate's death while he cleaned out the roommates bank account and cashed his checks. The reason he didn't report the death is because he had an active warrant for his arrest for non-payment of child support. So far the roommate's death is under investigation.
